Linda completed her BA (FA) in Sculpture and Visual Communication in 1990, her H.E.D (specialising in Fine Arts and Art History) in 1993 and her Art History honours in 1996 at the University of Pretoria. From 1993 to 2002 she taught art and other subjects at the Deutsche Schule Pretoria. Linda completed her MA (FA) at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2006. She was employed as a lecturer at the Vaal University of Technology from 2004 until January 2020, teaching a wide range of subjects including drawing, theory, ceramics and sculpture. During this time, she curated many exhibitions at the Bodutu Art Gallery at the Vaal University of Technology.
She is currently employed as a lecturer in Creative Arts for Education at the North-West University, Potchefstroom. Linda has taken part in a wide range of exhibitions during the course of her career in the arts.
