Lientjie graduated with a BA Fine Arts degree in 1990 and completed a BA Honours Art History in 1993, both from the University of Pretoria. Her passion for art-making shows in her love for painting, food and also in design, styling, curating and any other form of expressing a specific vision. She loves to inspire and instil this same passion with everybody she gets to work with. To date she has been involved in television media, owned a design and interior store, worked as décor stylist for selected print media, concept developer, recipe developer, stylist and script writer, writer for an online newspaper on a monthly basis about food and food editor. She continues to curate exhibitions.
Lientjie is fascinated by nature and humanity. She works in oil on canvas, mixed media on paper and ceramics. Her work forms part of various permanent exhibitions and collections.
