The Special Economic District of Shenzhen - just across the Hong Kong Boarder, in the tropic zone. Hot, sticky, noisy - you need to pass another boarder station to move from Shenzhen into the mainland. I heard Shenzhen compared to a wild west town of the Old West in the USA. To me, it is my least favorite place in China, I always stay at the Shangri La Hotel - they have a very nice bar there. I actually have ventured out and have many images from this place, here are a few. |
